Right time to practice Mathematics

I have seen many parents who are always tensed about the scores of their kids in Mathematics.
This blog is not for the students but for parents even if they are not able to teach mathematics to their children. With the help of this blog they can help their ward to get good scores in Mathematics.
Hope this will help all the parents.

Below are the major points that should be taken into mind for better preparation of Mathematics.
  • Right time for understanding: - Parents usually think that sending their ward to one of the best tutor is better in class 10th or above but they are not right. Actually what they need is to clear the concepts from class 7th onwards. Sending to some intelligent teacher is not the right way to improve scores. No one can help your child if the concepts are not clear. Cramming in boards is not the correct way and the questions are not same all the time in boards. It will not help your child to get good knowledge of mathematics in future and he/she will not be able to apply its applications in daily life and ofcourse will hate the subject.
  • Proper sitting plan: - Making a sitting plan is the best way to improve the skills to solve sums in mathematics. Make a proper time table and try to change it after every week or half monthly. Working on a single time table can make studies bore and it will create a mess in studies. There should be a proper time for playing or doing outdoor activity, eating some stuff and studying different subjects or some story books.
  • Write more and learn less:- I have seen many students don’t prefer to write the sums these days but mathematics is a subject which can’t be learnt by heart. We can only practice it more and more to get good marks. It is better to play games or keep yourself busy in phones or other gadgets rather than learning sums. When it comes to maths then only try to practice on paper or notebook. If parents want to motivate their child then buy a whiteboard and whiteboard markers so that they can solve sums on it. This will help to save paper and it creates more interest in your ward for not only mathematics but for all other subjects.
At Spark School of Education we always try to motivate students by having group sessions/discussions or quiz sessions so that students learn in groups and get motivated from others while learning. We teach different tricks to solve the sums and shortcuts using Vedic Mathematics.

HOW TO GET GOOD MARKS IN 12th BOARD EXAMS?

Do you Want to get more than 80% in 12th board exams? Here are some tips to get success in boards...

  • Do smart work rather than hard work- Try to complete your 85% of the total syllabus in a proper way before february. For instance- In physics there are 10 units in total so try to complete any 8 of them. All the formulas, conceptuals, NCERT based questions and numericals of these 8 units should be completed in such a way that any question from these units can be solved by you. It will help you to have less hectic schedule and rest of 2 units can be completed by having a look for important expressions or relations.
  • Fix a proper time table to Write more and for less reading- January is a month in which you can make a strict time table for yourself and try to write the expressions or answers by your own without looking at the answers from books on copies (it will be better if you use those copies in which there are some papers which are still not in use, to save paper) rather than reading them directly from the book. It will help you to have good handwriting and ofcourse practice to write in the examination hall. Avoid reading expressions in physics, reactions in chemistry and mathematics question and try to write these things on copies.
  • Test yourself on the basis of sample papers- Buy some latest sample papers from the book shops or go for online sample papers and practice those questions and evaluate yourself and give proper attention to your weak areas or topics. Try to complete a sample question on time and check the answers honestly and then take doubts from your teachers.
  • Avoid using any gadgets- Most of the students use mobile phone or laptops/ computers while studying. It will be beneficial if you avoid using these gadgets because sometimes students don’t use them for their studies but they get busy in chatting with their friends and that chat starts with asking an important question. Do not trust on anyone at this stage as no one knows that which question will come in exam? So it will be better if you continue to use these gadgets after your final exams.

Worried about your 10th Boards???

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO GET GOOD MARKS IN 10th MATHEMATICS...
  1. Make a formula sheet for last time preparation:- Try to write all the formulas on a separate paper or copy (it’s better to write formulas chapterwise) for last time revision or preparation.
  2. Worksheets:- Go for some question sets or sample papers online or from different books. It will be better if you go for previous year sample papers(both SA1 & SA2 because this time you have to go for full syllabus but the syllabus is same).
  3. Test series:- If you are taking tuitions/coaching from somewhere then this is the right time to start your test series and try to score yourself and take your doubts at the same time from the teachers and do not leave tests at schools for any other reasons.
  4. Take care of yourself:- This is the most precious time to take care of yourself. Avoid eating anything outdoors and keep yourself fit because we all know that a healthy body has a healthy mind.
  5. Last time preparation:- Try to complete your revisions before february month to avoid last minute pressure of studies on your mind.

Spark School of Education is an institute where you will get all the study material and test series for your better scores in matriculation.
